Bala Box-Office Prediction: Film Likely To Collect THIS Much, Could Be Ayushmann Khurrana’s 7th HIT In A Row
Basking in the success of his glorious past films, Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to enthrall his fans with yet another interesting project. Being in controversy for clashing with Sunny Singh’s Ujda Chaman over the similar concept, Bala will theatres tomorrow. The film has been mired in controversies ever since its trailer was dropped online. The film was accused of copyright infringement by Ujda Chaman makers. Bala enjoys a solo release, as Sunny Singh's Ujda Chaman released a week before.

But looks like this time too Ayushmann is going to wow the silver screen with his performance in Bala. Film Business and Trade Analyst Girish Johar believes that this will be Khurrana’s 7th hit film after giving six back-to-back hits like Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (2017), Andhadhun (2018), Badhaai Ho (2018), Article 15 (2019), and Dream Girl (2019).  (ALSO READ: Bala Leads Ayushmann Khurrana-Yami Gautam Talk Turkey On Bhumi Pednekar Dark Skin Controversy, Premature Balding And Their Friendship - EXCLUSIVE)

Speaking exclusively to SpotboyE.com Johar says, “There’s no doubt that the trailer has been appreciated a lot. The film has been cracking quite good and Ayushmann, as we all know, has a very good knack of selecting the subjects, which are so-called taboo, which can relate to the audiences in a very quirky manner and can also be a family entertainer. And that’s a fantastic way of addressing the subjects to the audiences even when the audiences are connecting."

“He has already given 6 back-to-back hits and I am pretty much confident that Bala will be the 7th one in the row. Depending upon the audience’s reaction and word of mouth the film is targeting various multiplexes and cities,” he added.

Further predicting the Day 1 box-office collections of Bala, he concluded saying, “I would peg it around Rs 8-10 crore for start. Then depending on if the film is good and can pull the audience to the theaters, collections can go up to 9-11 Cr. If not then it can come down to Rs 5-6 cr.”
